How would you describe your wedding? 

Rustic Autumn Wedding.

What inspired your choice of wedding location, venue and overall vibe for your day? 

We wanted something rustic, and autumnal. Whirlowbrook was the perfect choice due to the grounds and its beautiful colours.

Looking back, what are the main moments from your wedding day that you'll remember forever?

Dancing and singing at the reception mainly, heartfelt speeches, getting to do a first look was so special also.

Were there any planning decisions or personal touches that made your day feel especially meaningful or unique to you as a couple? 

We played bingo in honour of my Nan with silly prizes which went down really well everyone loved it.

What advice would you give to couples planning a wedding with a similar style or vision to yours? 

Pinterest is your friend! make mood boards and colour schemes to keep on track!

What made you decide to have a custom jacket created for your wedding day?

Embroidery is one of my favourite hobbies and I wanted to honour my love and passion for the skill and creativity by having a jacket I will treasure forever.

What elements or details did you want to incorporate into your jacket design and why were they meaningful to you? 

I chose to add my wedding colours of burnt orange to the design to fit in with my theme, our first dance was “forever” which the design already had written on it, which meant it was perfect for me.

How did you find the process of designing and creating your personalised jacket? 

Really easy, Ellie was so helpful and attentive, no change was too much and she really wanted to make sure my design was perfect.
