Bringing Live Embroidery to Happy Place Festival with Never Fully Dressed

Some events have a feeling that's hard to put into words.

From the moment we arrived at Happy Place Festival, there was an atmosphere of positivity, creativity and connection. Hosted by Fearne Cotton, the festival celebrates wellbeing, mindfulness and living creatively, making it the perfect setting for thoughtful, personalised embroidery.

We were delighted to work with the incredible team at Never Fully Dressed, who created the exclusive festival merchandise collection. Across two unforgettable weekends, first at Gunnersbury Park, London, and then Tatton Park, we embroidered hundreds of personalised pieces for festival goers, helping each person make their merchandise completely their own.

Throughout the weekend, our embroidery machines barely stopped.

From the moment the gates opened until the festival closed each evening, there was a constant queue of people waiting to personalise their purchases. Guests could choose names, initials or meaningful words to be embroidered onto their festival merchandise, transforming a beautiful item into something even more personal.

One of our favourite moments came when Fearne Cotton and her team stopped by the Never Fully Dressed stand to see the embroidery in action.

Our embroiderer, Ellie, personalised Fearne's cap live in front of her, and in a video shared on Fearne's Instagram Story she smiled and said:

"This is so cool!"

It's moments like these that remind us why we love live embroidery so much.
