Live embroidery for Teesside Hospice superstore launch
When Teesside Hospice prepared to open its brand new Superstore on Portrack Lane, Stockton on Tees, we were delighted to be invited to help make the launch unforgettable.
Our role extended beyond stitching on the day - We built anticipation for what was set to become one of the hospice’s biggest retail launches - organising a promotional product photoshoot featuring items from their stores that we enhanced with our custom embroidery and a creative marketing content.
Welcoming the sponsors who had helped make the launch possible, our live embroidery station quickly became one of the busiest parts of the event. Guests were encouraged to buy from and donate to Teesside hospice; and then given the opportunity from us to have their items embroidered - creating unique and memorable pieces that could be taken home as a lasting reminder of the event.
The response was incredible, with a steady queue formed throughout the event and people continuing to visit right until the end of the evening. Our custom embroidery menu streamlined the process, allowing us to be efficient and see to as many clients as possible.
As a business proudly based in the North East, supporting organisations that make a difference in the community means a great deal to us. During the event, we had the chance to interview Mike Thornicroft (CEO) and Hassan Hameed (corporate partnerships manager), discussing the vital services the charity provides, the funding needed to continue supporting local families and exciting future plans - promoting their cause on our social media.
For us, events like his is much more about entertainment. It’s an opportunity to connect with supporters and encourage meaningful connections.
