About

BETH WILSON - OWNER AND LEAD DESIGNER

After graduating from London College of Fashion with a First Class honours in Fashion Textile: Embroidery, I was fortunate enough to gain valuable industry experience while being employed by The London Embroidery Studio. From here I decided to start my own business in 2019 and moved back home to Middlesbrough shortly after in 2020 where the business has excitingly went from strength to strength.

Through my industry training experience, I have gained invaluable skills in paying close attention to detail and mastering intricate digital embroidery techniques. My services revolve around offering clients a unique and personalised experience. They can send me sketches, photographs of their favourite florals, or any other subject they desire, and together, we work to create something truly one-of-a-kind with meticulous attention to detail.

One aspect that sets my services apart is the level of client involvement in the creative process. I provide a bespoke service, allowing clients to make both significant and subtle sentimental edits to their designs. This way, each piece becomes a reflection of their individual preferences and personality.

To keep clients engaged and excited about their orders, I actively share the progress of their pieces on Instagram. By posting videos of the digitising and stitching process we are able to show how the artwork comes together, clients can witness the evolution of their creations and anticipate the final result.

I’m incredibly excited to continue growing the business by developing new services and products with the support of Ellie.

ELLIE BEDFORD - STUDIO ASSISTANT

I have always been passionate about textile design, especially slow fashion techniques such as embroidery, knitting, crochet, and sewing as well as enjoying illustration and print design. With experience at the London Fashion Brand ‘Brogger’ and Newcastle Textile Designer ‘Susi Bellamy’, I have learnt a range of skills in the fashion and textiles industry which I am able to apply in my role as Fashion Embroidery Assistant at Beth Wilson Embroidery!

Studying Fashion Design & Marketing at Northumbria University, I used surface design to create a touch centric collection which focused on customer experience. My study was focused on prioritising authentic self-expression and creativity through surface design and visually unique and exciting pieces. I believe everyone should have the opportunity to harness their individual creativity, therefore, I love working with people to help bring their unique vision to life!
